You could find him in the same place in every city, all you had to do was go straight to the library, the archive section usually, and there he would be, notebook out and pen in hand.
The 'Badgerman' as he had heard so many call him on his travels, was sat scouring through the cultural history of Navire when he heard the bells chiming. He check the time.

It wasnt the first time he had gotten lost in the books and scrolls and woukd certainly not be the last.  He gathered his belongings and headed for the exit.

The streets of the residential sector were bustling, not as busy as the market, but they were alive. The many different races stood out instantly to Wallas, he reviewed each if their species names in his head. In his short time travelling he had already lsarnt a great deal about the world and its occupants, its kingdoms and its histories, its mountains and their mysteries, and that was precisely why he was meeting thus contact. He had heard of humans and their excavations into the Maus before and it worried him, their strategy was all wrong and their lack knowledge of the Maus and what can certainly be found in them was astounding, he felt obligated to help them and save them from the turmoil they were sure to face. His own experiences back home were all he needed to motivate him to divert from his current quest, he justified it further by assuring himself he would learn more alongside people under stressful situations.

He entered the court and stayed out of sight so as not to cause a scene, he caught what seemed like the most important part of the briefing before approaching the group who were still looking at Cid. He strolled ever so casually across the room and came across a large man in extravagant armour, he poked the man in the back a few times.
