The sergals had been hovering around for a fair while, having alerted the Sa'Ri to the impending threat but ushering them to not tell the doomed planet so they'd at least be blissfully unaware of their impending death and/or complete and total destruction. After a few seconds there was some radio chatter and mia finds herself 'beamed up' into the ship which was more accurately described by her just suddenly appearing before shearing sounds could be heard aboard the vessel she'd boarded, troops awaiting immunization in front of a view port so she could watch the large blasts of energy scorching and flattening the city, the surrounding country side of the city, and anyone that decided it was a good idea to be making their way to that city from the neighboring ones at that time as the cities surrounding said fucked city would have just enough co-ordination and time to get everyone important into bunkers, most likely leaving the peasantry to their own devices as the skylines lit up with energy blasts rivaling large nukes with a distinct lack of the regular fall out, leaving at least some good thing for the local populace in this ungodly over kill of a carpet bombing which was rapidly leaving everything within the blast zone a mile deep crater with high energy rounds being shot at it just for good measure once the mana-shot runs out or at least, the commander gives the order "STOP SHOOTING IDIOTS OR WE'LL BLOW UP THE SODDING PLANET" rather irrately over the intercom
