It's not really the government that supports the shooting so much as it is the extremists. The reason some government figures are acting so aggressively towards protesters is because they don't want this to lead to "equal rights" or "respect" or some other crazy thing, but it's important to realize that it doesn't mean they are happy a bunch of humans died.
