I feel your pain. That happened when I was editing my character sheet and adding all of the military stuff, because my phone's screen just randomly jumped around on the page and made me click the x instead of save.

I write mine in RPGuild and then copy them before I press submit so in case something happens I can just paste and press submit again. A bad practice to write them here at all, but it's just so much easier to press the bbcode buttons then put them in yourself.

Somehow, I have the second but not the first. However, I have tamed my crazy billion-tab habits (mostly because my computer is slow as hell with that many tabs open)
