[@booksmusicanime] I played Platinum and beat it pretty easily. Then Wi-fi went down. 
Cynthia wasn't a threat. 

But... Pokemon just felt like a children's version of a MT game.
SMT pretty much made the whole Pokemon thing before Pokemon was made.

I prefer SMT. (Maybe because I'm a Cynical minded adult...?) 
Even with it's minimalistic charm, I never wanted more out of Pokemon.
