Abilities: Sensory manipulation. Basically, he has the power to create illusions, but ones that can work with other senses as well as sight. Unfortunately, he has very little control over this ability and it usually backfires, affecting him more than it affects others. Because of this, he sometimes fades into trances or waking nightmares, especially when he loses control. When he does have control of it, he can release his power in small bursts, creating pleasing images, sounds, and occasionally scents in the area around him. When he loses control, his power can affect those near him negatively, but he always gets the worst of it. The whites of his eyes turn black while the irises turn silver when he is about to lose control, but he can be calmed with either the bell he carries or with the scent of peppermint. 

Personality: He doesn’t talk often. He tends to either write or draw what he feels that he needs to say. Generally, artistic expression is easier for him than verbal expression. He tends to act a bit cold, but in reality, he actually cares a lot about everyone. Although he is usually fine with eating pretty much anything, Kyo seems to have a problem with any type of food that appears to have a face on it, most likely because of what his sensory manipulation powers have done to him in the past. His favorite flowers are catkins. 

Appearance: Black and nearly shoulder-length hair, very dark eyes, and slightly tan skin that has gone pale from a lack of sunlight. He often carries a leather bracelet with a bell attached to try to help him keep control of his ability. 

Kyo was abandoned by the age of eleven by his aunt. He had been considering running away before then, though.
