Quickly darting forwards she swung Karasuma down with all her strength, the mystically charged blade sweeping through the middle of the abomination's body, slicing Vernika in half as Mayumi smashed into her.

With the two pieces falling on either side of her, Mayumi landed in a roll which brought her back up onto her feet, facing towards her fallen foe with Karasuma held levelly in front of her eyes, prepared to defend against the next attack.
