[@Willy Vereb] Yamatai's miltary right now is a direct result of the war from 1936, the nation modernized rapidly due to the fact the government poured everything into the military so at most I would have been shooting at you with an armored car with a 37mm cannon at that point, not an actual tank. The IYAC was also a joke at that point, it was more like your griffon knights but worse. It was basically a bunch of idiots strapped to a dinky biplane and given a gun and a bunch of ammo and many some hand grenades. Not exactly elite by any stretch of the imagination .-. Also, I will repeat what I said last time: the Black Tortoise Tank is a propagated myth used to show the population the fruits of focusing so heavily on the military. In reality it was actually hit by a grenade but due to poor vision, the people who reported it said it was artillery that hit it (there was an artillery strike during at the time) and the people that where actually inside the tank were propped up as heroes and given money so they didn't say they weren't actually hit by something larger than a grenade. As for Sakurite trade, the way Yamatai is set up, you will have a hell of time trying to find someone who will sell "Yamatai's precious natural resources to dirty gaijin". That's not to say that there are smugglers willing to do the dedd, but they do it a reasonably high costs since it is closely guarded. In theory, other places have trace deposits of Sakurite but Yamatai is the only place where people know how to dig it up without it blowing up in their face and how to refine it without it flattening a city block. Also:
SAKURITE IS A COMPLETELY ORIGINAL CONCEPT THAT DEFINITELY DOES NOT ORIGINATE, COME FROM OR WAS INSPIRED BY CODE GEASS.
