Perhaps it is - literally! Each character sees the world and others in such a unique way, it is fascinating to read how they see and interpret what another character saw and interpreted.

Hehe, there really are endless possibilities xD but for now, I'm uber interested in seeing how [@Harbringer] will set up the arena fights. Will we self-RP the fights? Will Harbringer RP our opponents? Will we RP each other's opponents? Or something else completely? They're all interesting options and I'm looking forward to exploring any (if not all xP)

Not at all! It is completely natural that Duvain, having not only been enslaved and forced to fight, but having also left a vulnerable dependent behind, would be far too worried to even consider the others properly.
