I was going to say that if Koren had saved the Selkath Jedi's life he wouldn't feel so guilty, but the weight of a world on your shoulders is still a burden even if one drop has been caught.

As for neutrality, America was neutral for the first few years of the Second World War (not that we hold it against you at all [sub]you lazy tardy bastards :P[/sub]) and we still had plenty of Americas flying fighters and pounding the ground as extra-national volunteers.
