[@Wraithblade6] The only response was a massive beam of energy that shot right past Mithias. A deep trough was carved out of the land, a chasm almost a kilometer long and half as deep, the walls melted to magma by the sheer heat. In the centre floated Alucard, wings of fire spreading from his back, keeping him aloft somehow. Burn marks were streaked across his body, and while they regenerated, they did so slowly. It was only the level of regeneration expected from a normal vampire, not the self-proclaimed Lord of Vampires. He scoffed, as lightning crackled along his skin. In front of him floated Bob, great cape of souls spreading out behind him and blocking out the very sky. The Taker of Souls was as imposing a figure as ever, a creature of immense power as old as life itself. And yet, it's fight with Alucard had drained him. Even Bob had been forced to go full force against Alucard. "When someone threatens my family, I don't mess around. This mongrel will be wiped from the Earth, and his soul will suffer for eternity." Alucard simply moved into a fighting postition, clearly not fully recovered from losing Tsukune's power but already adapting. No longer was he rebuilding his body, but he was using his remaining powers of Pyromancy and Elektrokinesis to protect his body. Blades of plasma formed around his hands, a field of ionised gas superheated by his pyromancy and held in place with a magnetic field. "That one's new. That wasn't supposed to happen. It doesn't matter." Alucard smiles, and prepares his blade. And yet, there's something different about his smile as he prepares to fight Bob. Having lost his regeneration, armour, and most of his insane strength and speed, Alucard was still an immensely dangerous opponent. But weakened from the Invocation of Death, he wasn't nearly strong enough to defeat even a weakened Bob, and he knew it. For the first time in a long time he was staring down a superior opponent, prepared to fight for every last breath. And he was loving every second of it. "I'll just have to get stronger as I fight."
