Personality: A bit eccentric, at the least, definitely a part of her rather fragmented life. When presenting as a boy, she tends to be very quiet and unassuming, and does her best to stay out of the way as much as humanly possible. She’s generally a good kid, though she stays out of the way and just watches from afar.
In girl mode, however, is where she tends to shine, so to speak. She tends to be a lot stronger of a person. She’s more energetic, more talkative, and very much a fashionista.
However, Yotsuba isn’t without her faults. She has some mild kleptomaniac tendencies (after all, money to buy clothes and wigs isn’t easy to come across!), but is well-intentioned, and definitely feels sorry for what she may take, even if that might not say a lot considering she still steals. As well as that, she’s very paranoid of being found out that she wasn’t born a girl. She also gets depressed and anxious over who she is, and as such, goes to great lengths to disguise herself as best as possible.

Backstory: Born a single child, Yotsuba lived a rather plain and simple life, at least up until becoming a teenager. At that point, she started to shy away from people much more than she did in the past, and overall became very quiet. Of course, this was due to conflicting feelings about who she was, and she frequently would spend hours after school going to clothing stores and spending birthday money on girls clothes which she had to hide from her parents. She was just trying to find herself in the world, but finding herself meant doing things she knew her parents and society wouldn’t approve of. But she persevered and moved on, even with grades and socializing suffering due to it all, she was determined to find her place in the world.
