The young woman stirred in her sleep, her head tilting to her other side where she leaned against the wall of the room. Her dark hair fell in her face and she breathed softly, her eyes fluttering open to reveal brilliant blue and green eyes that quickly slipped around the room to take in what was going on. Oh, maybe she was going to die. Vanessa didn't panic, she almost never panicked, though as she looked around at all the rage and dumbfounded expressions she stood, leaning back against the wall without a word.
