It was pathetic he was even scared by a glass of water but he couldn't help it. No matter how hard he tried, he just couldn't get over his fear of the liquid. When Trinity spit out her water, he quickly ducked under the table as she spluttered in surprise. Peeking his head out when it was safe, he sighed in relief before sitting properly again. At his friend's words, he chuckled a little. "Of course! The Magic Games isn't about winning. It's a nice thing to do, but it's supposed to be fun and good experience for both wizards and normal citizens in order to show off your magic and hard work. So as long as you try your best and have as a good time, that's all that matters." the blonde reassured with a bright smile. When Jarvis mentioned his name, his head perked up and his emerald eyes stared toward the current Guild Master curiously before tensing up as Damian suddenly started talking, starting off with the Dragon Job. Instantly, the memories flooded in his mind and his shoulders couldn't help but sag as he frowned a little. Fingers gripping the table tightly as he stared at the wood. He barely noticed he was causing splinters to crack from under his fingers from his strength he hadn't noticed he had. Karn listened silently but much of it he didn't understand too much. He wasn't exactly culturally knowledgable and a part of him though this 'being a soldier' was just a excuse to kill. But he didn't speak them, and he mentally scolded himself for thinking that way. Damian may have killed them by hand, but Karn didn't stop him either. And that was his failure. It just reminded him, he failed in protecting anyone. And how useless he was. As he watched Penny, he was about to go after her, but stayed a little. Thinking maybe the two of them needed to talk alone. What would he say to either of them anyhow? He had only killed his mother, which most consider just a accident. He couldn't help but wonder, if he would have to be Damian and start killing. He didn't want to. Because when at Chimera kills, they eat it. Simple instinct and their way of life. So, would he have to be a killer too if he stayed here? Shaking the thoughts away, he forced a smile once more. It was alright, he would get the needed punishment. Then it all wouldn't matter anymore. As he spotted Zenoram and Zero, it seemed Zenoram was still in charge. Smiling to Trinity, Karn stood. "I should check on him. Zenny is a bit shy." he cheered before he moved after the Poison Dragon Slayer. Zenoram was kind, helped him sometimes when the blonde was severally ill... But it was only Zenoram. Karn hadn't seen Zero. It worried him... But they were both hurting. Despite being disheartened by Damian's speech, he couldn't allow himself to be downhearted and had to at least try to be cheerful. There wasn't much he could really do for Zenoram or Zero, other than be there. They weren't used to companionship, probably didn't welcome it right now. But.. It was something that someone needed during these times. "Hey Zenny! Did you and Zero sleep well?" he asked. He knew Zenoram seemed upset over Zero's silence, but he had to ask. He was concerned over them both after all. Karn waited for a answer before smiling brightly and glancing to the other Guildmembers. "Everyone is excited. Jarvis just announced the people on the teams for the Magic Games. It's a fighting competition for the Wizard Guilds to show off their magic to both wizards and regular civilians. It's supposed to be all in good fun. It should be a blast participate or watch." Karn happily explained, knowing Zenoram or Zero probably hadn't heard of this event before. He did sort of leave Damian's speech out. Karn wasn't sure how to speak it really. But he would still answer if Zenoram asked. "Awe well, you can search for a apartment, choose a room here and settle your things in. Go to the job board and pick out a job, or talk with the others. Or~" Prince purred, leaning closer, gingerly gripping the smaller male's hands and clasping them together between his clawed ones. "You can go on a date with me and fall in..." he started but his ears twitched as he sensed the incoming danger. But he didn't move and was soon glomped from behind by Zephyr. At the words, Prince simply grinned and lightly reached and ruffled the glompers hair. "Awe jealous? You're welcome to all my embraces. I just couldn't resist this little cutie though." he chuckled. This man was also a newbie, joining around the same time as the others, but he was quite fun. Fun personality and the two of them got along well. Plus, he was cute in his own way as well. "Guess Master wants you to actually work at battle. Not so bad, you'll get to meet all sorts of people in the arena." he chuckled before looking to Michael. "Mikey, this is Zephyr. he joined just two weeks ago, but he's already snuggled his way into Dragon Fang's good graces. Zephyr, this is Michael, today's newest recruit." he happily introduced before thinking. "So, since announcements are done, want to do a job? Zephyr now has a excuse to train, and it would show Mikey how to do things." Prince chirped. Already perhaps, hogging the newbie for himself before anyone else could steal him.
