He was happy he to to participate after all. He would have to train for it. At Zenoram's words, expressing he was glad to see the blonde moving again, Karn chuckled a little bit. "Yeah, thanks to you and Mythy. Couldn't even get myself some food for awhile there." he said before sighing a little at the information on Zero. Which was basically no news. Guess Zero still needed time, and it was better not force it. Zero could at least still hear them he was sure, so Karn was sure even the more rash persona would know that he had people who cared. As Zenoram curiously questioned why everyone seemed a little more tense rather than merry, Karn's smile dimmed a little as he looked toward the stairs. "Not too long before you got here, Dammy announced to the Guild what he did to those people at Mt. Hakobe. And confessed he was some sort of child soldier. And he's killed people before. I guess he's felt pretty guilty too, that he felt the need to confess to everyone. I was going to check on him, but it seems Fira went after him. She'll probably do a better job at comforting him. I'm not really sure what to think." Karn explained softly before blinking as Mithera appeared and chuckled as she landed on Zenoram's head. But what came to his surprise, was that she talked and he couldn't help but smile brightly. He knew she often went off to the forest alone, and he supposed this is what she was practicing for. "Mythy! You're talking! That's great!" Karn chirped cheerfully, happily stroking the top of the mini dragon's head. She was just so cute, and now she was talking. He had not minded her silence, him and Zenoram usually understood her enough, but Karn himself was used to speaking to silent animals. He supposed in the Guild, it be difficult to interact with everyone without Melina here. It was funny, since they had came to the Guild, they've all been together. They practically joined together, lived together, and even went on a job together. Sure, it wasn't really much of a job and more of a quest for Hemlock but... They still went together and worked with one another. "We make quite the team, the four of us." he couldn't help but say with a soft smile. It was then that Karn noticed that they were beside the job board. Curiously, he looked it over, perhaps there was a job that could help with his training. Though his emerald eyes landed on one and his green orbs narrowed in examination before snapping wise open. Gingerly he reached and took it off the board, his eyes looking it over. His expression changed multiple times, one of surprise, uncertainty, sorrow, a brief fear, before determination. He then smiled brightly, as if to hide anything that just ran in his thoughts. "I think I'll go on this job. Zenny, you should try talking to some of the Guildmembers here and make lots of friends. They all are pretty friendly. In their own way." Karn said with a bright 'cheerful' smile before his emerald eyes seemed to scan the hall. Thoughtfully thinking for a moment as if trying to decide something. His eyes then landed on Maddox and he smiled a little, seeming afirm something before walking to Jarvis. "Jarvy! I'd like to go on this job today!" Karn cheered, silently hoping Jarvis wouldn't see why he wanted this job in particular. He was pretty sure only him and Jamie could see it. Face burning brighter then any tomato as he stumbled over his words, tried to get his breathe, and seemed to try and process what the catman had just tried to say. Oh yes, this will be fun indeed. Such adorableness made the feline's heart flutter. It was like finding cute little kitten in a box. Michael seemed to regain some composure as his thoughts seemed to focus on the prospect of going on a job. At least the newcomer was quite excited for Guildlife and seemed quite eager to get started. "But of course. You're a Guildmember now so you can go on jobs. Plus, you don't want to be around now that Master announced the Magic Game contenders. They'll get any punching bag for training." he chuckled pointing to the job board and released his hold finally. "Go ahead and see if you see one you like. Your first job your choose is always a memorial experience." he chuckled, purring a little. Memories... To be honest, he didn't remember his first one. Shame, his memory was robbed liked that. But he was happy to see others experience theirs. "You wanna come Zeph? Or stay with your fellow contenders?" he grinned to the man behind him.
