Chose the MAGS M1R because it's small and resilient. It may survive if Kyo decides to throw it as a weapon (because he may have better accuracy with that:lol)
And well, he may like Meulemann's company because he can tell him tales about his father Kei's exploits.
Otherwise Kyo is rather distant with people now.
He could warm up in the future, though.

Oh and I if you haven't noticed, I also introduced a Man in Black NPC who is similarly an oriental swordsman who also killed Kyo's father in the past and took his family sword.I can elaborate on some details to him in PMs, if you want.
You don't really need to calculate with him much. Basically this would be my character's own bit of sub-plot.
