Amelia Rothschild Laurent Age: 35 Size: 5’8 and 55 kg. Amelia is slightly above average height and maintains quite a trim figure. Physical Shape: She enjoys physical exercises like cycling as well as some casual weight training, mainly for her legs and back. She has what might be described as a ‘runners body’: sturdy, fairly lithe with a low BMI. Amelia has excellent stamina, but is unproven and underpowered when it comes to fighting in close quarters. She would likely be pretty pliable in the face of someone with a stronger build than her. Personality: Amelia has a real and tangible charismatic magnetism. Before it all went to shit, and to some extent even now, people are instinctively drawn to her easy smile and confident posture. Depending on whether you believe in Nature or Nurture, it is a strong bloodline or a very driven upbringing which have brought her to this destination. She knows what people want to hear and will press all of their buttons if it achieves her current goal. Its just a shame that her goals sometimes detriments everyone else around her. Decisive and audacious, Amelia’s ambition knows no bounds, in all aspects of her life. She tramples on people on her way to the top of any given field, whether it's her career or her love life. She comes first and only once she's established will she help others to any great degree. Her mother taught her to be brave and unflinching, even in the face of impossible odds, but also to gather a team of people around her which would help her achieve victory. This clashes slightly with her personality but Amelia understands the deep need for teamwork, especially in dark times such as these. Occupation: Federal Liaison at the Centre for Disease Control and Prevention, Atlanta. She was in charge of checking up on personnel there and making sure they were always doing what they were supposed to be doing. This made her privy to a fair few secrets which she sometimes sold in exchange for favours or large sums of money. Equipment: Amelia is wearing an off-white top and dark jeans, black military issue boots and gloves. She has her Louis Vuitton Empreinte pendant in yellow gold around her neck. She’s wearing a utility belt that she looted from a National Guardsman, with an array of different pouches. On her person she's carrying: a torch, five magazines for her gun, an M84 Stun Grenade, her Cook’s Knife in a sheath and her gun in a holster at her hip. Inventory: She’s wearing a 35L North Face rucksack, in graphite grey, on her back. Inside it she has: two complete spare changes of clothes at the bottom. Thin trousers, undergarments and tops. A two litre bottle of water, 10 purifier tablets, her phone (dead), a walkie talkie (dead), a small book of first aid and a set of 20 batteries. Weapons: A Sig Sauer 2022, an M84 stun grenade and a cook’s knife. Background: Despite an illustrious family name, Amelia remembered them living in poverty for the first twenty years of her life. Her mother worked at the university and her father worked far away at the Office of Naval Intelligence and hardly saw them. Amelia and her brother George had a hard childhood and were forced to work gruelling hours to support their household which seemed to be plowing all their money into one particular stock. It wasn’t until Amelia’s 21st birthday that her father finally broke through and landed an implausible promotion. He promptly got her a job at the CDC and George a senior position at Boeing. His one condition: Do not fuck up, ever. Amelia didn’t intend on ever angering her father, and took to her new responsibility like a duck to water.
