The Curious Sky
The world had ended hundreds of years ago. At least, that's what the historians say. The priests and clergy tell you that the Gods created the world, and it was always this way. Even if it had mattered before, there was no way for anyone to find out. Because the world is only 65,000 kilometers wide.
Concept

Okay, so the general idea of this Roleplay is that in the past, the world got destroyed. I know, that's the general idea of a Post-Apocalyptic Roleplay, but hear me out. See, the twist is, the entirety of the known world of the group of humans that you, the player, will come from, is the size of Sri Lanka. The 2 cities that remain hang dangerously close to the edge over endless cliffs that fall into never-ending clouds. Every ethnicity of the past world survived, but racism is nigh nonexistent. Classism, however, is rampant, with the Clergy of the Gods dominating every aspect of life. However, even in such a setting, there is an underground movement of scientists and historians, who are actively trying to figure out what happened to create such a world, and if there even is anything out there. You, the player, are a member of that movement, or a low-ranking clergyman, trying to root out the dissidents. The technological setting is Steampunk, with some vestiges of Old World technology being used by the Church. This RP would lead up to an interesting sequel, but that's later on. Interested?
