[@Lugubrious] NOLAN For someone with a head screwed off Xyster was awfully cheerful. The fact that she carried her head around didn't even phase him once at all. It was the fact that she was a woman that kept him from getting closer to her even if she wasn't a human being. As long they were the opposite sex and at least were near his age then he would be on edge. When she stepped closer to him it took his will to not take a step back lest he would make an ill favored impression. Oddly enough she wanted to play rock-paper-scissors with him and he couldn't think of a reason to deny her so he allowed himself a couple rounds. He scowled at his fist as he lost to the first round in the match up with paper versus rock, but then won with paper cutting scissors. Nolan nodded his head in approval of his victory. It was interesting to meet other guild mages that were participating in the tournament yet have no hostility towards each other. It was somehow...comforting. Out of nowhere the headless woman confirmed Nolan's suspicions that she wasn't human, but indeed a Dullahan. He knew somewhat of what they were, but this was his first time meeting one. "I could tell you weren't human, not just because of your head." Nolan leaned back against a support beam and in the most nonchalant, impassive tone anyone could have about the subject of killing he said, "Yes, I've killed a lot of people recently. I was in Caelum not too long ago for some personal business and I encountered criminals of the worst kind. Slave dealers, pedophiles, murderers, rapists, dark mages, you name it. Unlike Damian I don't regret killing them, not one bit." Nolan took his pipe from his pocket and stuffed a wad of tobacco in it before lighting it with his lighter. It was hard to believe that this man was apart of Phoenix Wing. [@Zarkun] ZEV Zev had slung his arms around both Jake and Hunter's shoulders laughing jovially with his two friends, his face tinged with a slight flush. In the excitement of the announcement for the Grand Magic Games he had a bit too much to drink even though he knew very well that he had an alcohol tolerance that was almost non-existent. Again someone in the guild would have to make some magical concoction to remove his drunkenness before he went home to his daughter or else he would be completely indisposed. "Congrats Hunter! May you fight on and raise hell!" A black hand mixed with purple rose out of the counter, holding Zev's mug of beer up to his face as he gulped out of it. It certainly wasn't an appropriate use of using his familiars. He then turned his gaze to Jake with a buzzed grin. "So I wonder why you weren't selected for the games. You're strong, but then again so is Ammy and hmph she is a fine looking woman."
