I have 2 races in mind, one for Dusis and the other for Sherima. For the Country of Dusis, humans, like Kho said. Except they possess wings of pure fire. So basically angles. Their wings won't set things on fire unless they will it, but they cannot manipulate fire as they see fit. They are an extremely militaristic race, thriving on Imperialism. They will mist likely be a monarchy. Not the coolest of the two, but they will be the most technologically advanced of the two countries.

Sherima you cannot really call a country. It is mainly comprises of bug people. They are humanoid, self aware, bipedal beings. They have an ability called Reactive Evolution. If their enemy can fly, over the next few days, they can grow wings to combat that. They are mostly tribal, warring clans type people. But they will be united under one banner to fight the winged ones. That's pretty much it, not to very creative, but cool none the less.
