Maybe it's the lantern he has, or his connection to spirits of the dead...I dunno, he just reminds me of that. I almost thought it may have been a partial inspiration for his character, like my Woman of the Waters is clearly based off of Lady of the Lake.

Undasis as a whole, actually, is based partially off of the Greek wine-God, Dionysus- he was often depicted as being half-mad and two-sided, as my god is. He also once turned a bunch of sailors into dolphins.
