Character development is cool and it's good to plan things in advance. The only problem is that your character not going to jail depends entirely on the reactions of other characters which you are completely unable to control. Maybe if Mokuren made some close friends they might want to help but she's not exactly social. At the moment the only logical reaction I can think of to anyone finding out about this is a call for arms to have her subdued followed by trial.
