Captain Toad Palutena's Guidance Pit: Isn't that the guy Peach always pulls from under her dress? (For Toadette: Pit: Hey, she looks like the guy that Peach pulls from under her dress.) Palutena: Yes and no. Toad [Toadette] is one of the Mushroom Retainers that attends Peach at her castle. This Toad [Toadette] is different from the Toad she pulls from her dress. Pit: Huh. I wonder what it's like down there. Viridi: Why don't you go up to him [her] and ask? Or better yet, ask Peach. Pit: Actually, I'm not quite sure I want to know. Viridi: You know, (s)he's actually kind of cute. Palutena: Toad may be a bit of a coward, but when it comes to a fight, he can sure pack a punch with not only his pickaxe, but also his spores. (For Toadette: Palutena: They may look different, but Toadette acts almost identically to Toad in that she uses her pickaxe and her spores to get an edge on her opponents.) Pit: Spores, huh? Sounds like one of your beasties, Viridi. Viridi: Shut it, Pit. I'd never work with anything that associates itself with humans! Pit: Wait, but what about— Viridi: Drop. It.
