Marken had the symptoms memorized as he made his way back to his room. Hopefully, Ella would know what was needed, and then they could deliver the antidote to whatever she was suffering from. The walk back was much brisker. Every second counted, and now Marken was filled with a strict conviction, now that he knew just how bad his mothers condition was. Even his father seemed affected, a man that seemed to relish the oncoming war, who now looked haggard and sleepless. Still, anything that could pull an emotion like that from the man was good, right? Soon enough, he reached the door, opening it up with a small smile on his face. They could help his mother, and then all would be well. Ella would marry him, and he could be with someone who he actually loved. It was a complete victory, in his own mind, and it made the smile all the wider. He called out into the rooms, loudly enough that Ella would almost certainly be able to hear him, if she was present in the rooms. "I've got the symptoms that she's suffering from, beautiful!" He said as the door was closed behind him. Now that he could truly express his feelings for Ella, he intended to fully, walking in with a beaming smile, despite the circumstances. Because the circumstances were to be changed. "Where are you, so I don't have to shout them across the room?" With that, Marken would begin walking from room to room, looking for Ella, unless she called out to him, inwhich case he would rush to her immediately.
