If you weren't a slob and so was your roommate, Field Days were easy for you, especially if your overseeing NCO or SNCO was chill. If either you or your roommates were a slob, or anyone on the same fucking DECK as you were a slob and fails an inspection, well get ready to waste your fucking weekend getting the entire building and surrounding areas white-glove inspection ready. It was a pain in the ass being a junior enlisted Marine. My life improved dramatically whenever I got promoted to Corporal and moved out of the barracks as a result of marrying my beloved wife. Still though, fucking shitty memories and shitty days were had during 'Field Days'.
