Luke Schwarze -- Out of the Frying Pan First universal rule of fighting in all forms... Well, guideline, but treating it as a rule is smart. Perhaps the greatest lesson he'd ever learned from the very same coach that had always told him to try and emulate his prodigy sister-- Stay off the center line! Feeling his eyebrows begin to singe away, the gauntleted teen juked forward and to the side, simultaneously closing distance and evading a crispy, untimely conclusion to their short battle. That said, he needed to keep this up. Casting fireball undoubtedly gave this Mordred guy the range advantage, and that was something he absolutely needed to take away! He kept pressing inward, trying to close the distance between him and his opponent. If I can just get my hands on him, I'll be in a much better position to do some work. Luckily, he only had a few feet to go, and then the next issue'd be dealing with that sword. Either try and in-fight, or just take him to the ground. Those seemed like the best options. Keeping an intelligent defense up all the while, Schwarze continued working his way into range.
