With Doto-kun's cheerful ramblings, Aoi's excessive antics, which to be honest brought a smile or two to his lips, and now with Rin's appearance ... it just really became a melting pot of annoyances. The whole way he lagged a bit behind the rest, his senses on alert as he took in the warm scenery. Having the time to do so and not be allowed to gnaw on the events involving himself in Yamato brought him back to his initial problem. Is being a ninja solving other people's problems? Or is it- His thoughts came to a dark corridor. One that had no answers or further questions. It simply halted. Daiki squinted up at the painful rays of the sun before returning to the trek to Rijin Village. When they finally arrive, rain had roamed over them. A pelting veil of gray and light mist. He ignored the others, taking notice of the emptiness in the village. Not one person was out and about, not one voice rang. The village became dreary all of asudden. He looked down a mud path, the huts lining it was dark. Where is everyone? Once settled in his small room, Daiki placed his bags down and walked over to the bowl of steaming soup. He didn't like the feel of the place and decided it was best to play it safe. Just as he was walking out to gather the others, Aoi approached him and said to meet in her room. He stood in his door way and glanced around. "... Right." he answered. Before heading to her room he knocked on Doto's door and once the boy had answered said. " If you ate the soup, I want you to vomit it out. Make sure you empty your stomach," He told him dead-serious. " It could be laced with poison. Check on, Rin too. Tell her the same. Don't eat anything afterwards. Oh. And do try and be observant."

Giichi Uzumaki, The Heir to Orange

Giichi listened to his father talk with merriment about his envious comrades in war. His lean arms were crossed over his chest as he listened, a constant smile on his lips. The air of the estate was saturated with a warm power, one that exuded from the three residents that occupied it. The sun was brighter there, for it was built in its direction and hidden ontop of a hill that was encompassed by imported trees on both sides. “So what did you say?” Giichi curiously asked. “I told him he'd have to pry her from my cold dead hands. Sachi was made for me and you, Ichii-poo. No one else can have the either of you. They'd have to go through me first.” “Ditto, pops.” Giichi rolled his neck around, his bones had grown stiff and cranky since the absence of his missions. “That Uzumaki blood in you is boiling huh? You and your mother is so much alike.” “Ya think?” he wondered. “I can never decide myself.” His father stood up and calmly looked over at a duo approaching them. With a jovial smile, he observed them as they approached. “Welcome, Minamoru. I suppose you're here for my boy?” Giichi raised a brow at the two of them. He had never met the Minamoru personally but he'd certainly heard of them. They were a new clan that had grounded themselves into The Leaf Village with ingenuity and moxie. They were just as strong as the Uzumaki Clan in that regard, at least, he thought so. He stepped onto the wooden ledge next to his father, his blue eyes glazing over them. “They're the Minamoru Clan? Hey aren't they the ones you and mother are always meeting up with?” Taichi whistled a slow tune before sliding open the door and stepping inside. Leaving him alone with the Prodigy and his popular, raven-haired, sister. He had seen her around the Base School, occasionally the two was forced to hang around the same people, but besides that, they didn't speak much. “What's up?”
