Nah, she meant that our separate brainstorming sessions wonderfully and coincidentally resulted in the same idea. 

You could, or you could just make their relationship apparent in the next post when the SS officer comes the lab and intimidates them all. 
Klaus definitely has no idea Aaron and Mat are involved, because he's a) mildly autistic and can't read people and b) Aaron and Mat would be low key as hell to avoid arrest.
