After Gideon left, with a good luck from the paladin, James finished his breakfast and went back to working on unlocking more of his magic. He had recently discovered that he could summon a Familiar, a companion that all paladins can summon to assist them both in battle and in healing the wounded. Once he'd memorized the spell, he stood up from the bar and headed to a corner of the guild hall where he didn't risk getting ran over or bumped into. Focusing, he put his hands together to form a triangle in front of him. He stayed this way, silent, until a golden magic circle appeared in front of him and he said the spell. [color=Navy]"I summon you, as did the paladins of old, to help me, as you did those who came before me. I offer you my companionship and my undying loyalty as a comrade. I also offer you a safe place to rest when you are weary. Come forth, Paladin's Familiar!"[/color] The spell finished, he hoped he did it right.

Damian chuckled at Penny's question and rather than answer it, he kept quiet and kept to his path, heading through the market district. Once they were in the center, he turned to her. [color=FireBrick]"I need a couple things from here before we leave. Mind waiting just a few minutes?"[/color] Not waiting for an answer, Damian vanished almost expertly into the crowd. [color=FireBric][i]Right then, first stop is the food merchant I get my stuff from.[/i][/color] Maneuvering his way through the crowd, he eventually reaches a food stand and walks up to it with the predetermined amount of jewel in his hands. [color=FireBrick]"The usual if you will."[/color] The shop owner nods and disappears into the back for a few minutes before coming back with a pack full of what Damian needed. Handing the man his jewel, Damian set off for his next destination.

Penny was only left waiting five minutes before Damian came back, the pack he'd purchased slung over one shoulder so he had easy access to Durandal and the pack all at the same time. He also had a gift for Penny in one of his pouches at his waist, but that was a surprise. With his supplies in tow, he lead Penny to the outskirts of town before summoning his Striker Blade and climbing on. [color=FireBrick]"I believe you asked if we were taking the train, so I ask you,"[/color] the blade begins rising into the air, [color=FireBrick]"Where's the fun in that?"[/color]
