I know shaped breastplates are stupid and suicidal, this example isn't that bad though. It doesn't have the fold pointed at the sternum so it should be practical.

The design would be either plain or crude and menacing with spikes as those are the only styles Furnace is familiar with making.

What's her size then? You can bind them and fit into a fitted armor if they aren't too big.
If they are anything over C she probably can't fight with a scythe anyways. So armor would be moot as well.
