Thanks for the clarification. In that case I can edit my post or whatever, since it seems both options left to Rei could be taken; either defend or attack. What she decides I will make the necessary changes for continuity. 

Also Isen I've been doing as you've written if that works well enough; Vee carries around an assortment of small vials and such that contain aurum rich herbs. To cast from a distance he has to be able to throw it far enough,  accurately enough and against a surface that can crack. Refer to my latest post as reference and let me know if that works.
