Ryann couldn’t stop a smile from gracing her lips after hearing the humorous response carried back by the wind. Whoever it was, they sounded friendly enough for her to relax a bit and pick up the pace. Very soon, her eyes could begin to make out the familiar silhouettes of people farther along the bridge—there were two of them, one moving its limbs, and the other standing much more still. Now close enough to make out details, Ryann gives each other the individuals a quick but careful glance. Neither of them looked like they were very threatening, the closest looking quite friendly in fact. She noted further that neither of the two looked dressed for this sort of weather. “H-Hello.” Ryann greets through jittering teeth and her best attempt at a smile, while her numb legs came to a halt a few feet behind the individuals. Relief almost washes all of her anxiety away, but the knot inside of her stomach refused to let itself be undone. “Trying to escape the cold as well?” she asks with a hint of humor on her frozen tongue. Her eyes briefly leave the two to recapture a glimpse of the castle again, and she hopes in the back of her head that it's much warmer inside.
