Your nice sheet is accepted, Multi! Welcome to the fray. I realized that I didn't address the concept of weapon durability. Bottom line is, we are going to have weapon durability, but when that durability is used up, the weapon becomes 'broken' rather than destroyed, and can be restored for a little gold at the nearest smith. However, while a damaged weapon can be repaired to full, a 'broken' weapon permanently loses some effectiveness, so the more weapon-savvy characters among you will know to take it to a smith for repair before it fully breaks. For tomes, damage is replaced by burnout; eventually, after a lot of use, the magic within a book will destroy the book itself, but a new one can be conjured in a moment of peace.
