Not to mention that since they're currently occupying the city, the officers in charge may strung us up as an example to keep the peace. We're pretty much jumping the gun with the weapons and stabbing. We could have tried to make it look like a bar brawl if a fight was inevitable. At least then we have a pretext of not looking like rebels or saboteurs against the army.
