[@Commodore Robot]I only skimmed through your NS for now but it looks okay. You may need to actualize or flesh out some parts later but take this as you're in.
I am going for pan-continental empire, which is why I asked for various territories. Figured I can hop toward or away from the monster continent once I know what it is.
A pan-continental empire would be pretty much impossible at this day and age. Travel takes 2-3 months by even the fastest ships, and twice of that via more heavier ships. It may be fine if it's about you establishing a colony but maybe you rather wish to do that during the RP.
I'd like to play, and if I could reserve the region inhabited by ethnic britons (wales, brittany, and cornwall), that would be lovely.
Sure you can. As your flag it looks much better than whatever I drew for my nation in Brimstone. :lol
I played EU3 and EU4, which of course makes me fully qualified to partake in this. In seriousness, though: Do we make our own nations, or adapt existing ones to fantasy? For example, if I want to play in Russia, will I be Muscovy by necessity, or would I be able to make my own country there?
You are almost completely free to make any kind of nation here, just like in almost every NRPs. You ma need to conider what your neighbors do and adapt but something like choosing your capital city is your decision regardless. At worst if you choose AU Russia you may have to find an excuse why you have a different capitol. Alternatively in your AU Russia the capitol was always a city different than Moscow. And of course if you make a fully original nation then you aren't bound with any such things.
