Hey Lug I know in Fire Emblem you can have a character carry like six staves without any ill effects but I think logistically that's sort of impossible for one person so I was thinking that maybe there are separate parts of a stave. A crystal that can be inset into a staff and controls the effect that staff has so they're would be Warp Crystals, Heal Crystals, Sleep or Silence Crystals. Then you have the actually staff which channels the magical effects of the crystal. Both Crystal and staff have a durability/burnout/broken factor to them so if you have one staff that you use all your crystals in then the staff will break before the Crystals burnout. Then some staffs are more durable or channel magic more competently increasing the effectiveness of the crystals power. What do you think?
