Kyle woke up in the Chief's sitting room of his hut, and after a few dazed moments Kyle's head was clear enough for him to first figure out that he must have been carried here from the Village Square.  He then noticed voices speaking above him.  

"I'll make sure to let him know when he wakes up.", from the unmistakeably deep voice of the Chief himself.  

Then Kyle heard footsteps, walk away and he rose to his feet, looking for the guy the Chief must have been talking to, only to find out that whoever that was had already left.  He turned around to a chuckle he heard behind him.  

"Ah, Kyle, I'm glad to see that your up and about.  I have to admit, when you hit the platform I had thought you might have been out for a lot longer then just a few hours."  

Kyle nodded at the Chief and shrugged in embarrassment remembering the collision clearly, and he knew it was not the thing that Champion's should do.  

"Anyway, Kyle I talked to your parents letting them know that your here and that your going to a party at the Castle of Jurassica.  Why?" the Chief added quickly at the questioning look in kyle's eyes, "Well because you have a letter of invitation from, a Veteran Champion and it is a great opportunity for you to make friends with the other champions and ofcourse scope them out for weaknesses to exploit."  The Chief finished with a grin on his face.  

Kyle, then noticed the opened letter with his name on it in the Chief's right hand.  He snatched it from the Chief and read it himself.  The Chief frowned as the letter was taken from him, but Kyle ignored him.  Yep, there was no question that they wanted him at this Jurassica Castle place, but fortunately his dad had told him about the place often enough, that he didn't need the Chief's directions to get there.  Otherwise Kyle was afraid that the Chief would come with him as he seemed to like involving himself in the champion business.  [i]The last thing I need is a babysitter, much less a bossy and annoying one.[/i] Kyle, decided.  

"Ok, Chief, I'll make sure to come back to the village as soon as this tournament thing is over.  Until then, have a good time here at the village." He said with a cheeky grin as he left the Chief's hut, said hi to Spino who was pacing back and forth impatiently waiting for Kyle to return.  

The Chief shook his head with a slight smile on his face, as his door closed behind Kyle, [i]That rascal, is a stubborn one, but he might just have what it takes to win the whole thing.[/i]  

With a quick apology, for keeping Spin. waiting so long, he jumped on his dino's back, and made his way to Jurassica Castle.  That was Straight North East from the village of Tarin.
