Nolan loved animals, especially cute and small ones just like this small creature in front of him, but he could never let anyone find that out. Rubbing this animal's head had relieved him of some of his anxiety of asking Karn to be his training partner for the two months before the Grand Magic Games and he had let his guard down. He chuckled when he small draco squeaked and leaped up to his shoulder as it nudged its face against Nolan's cheek. For once Nolan seemed to be smiling serenely. That was until the creature actually spoke. Nolan's face seemed to be covered in a shadow as his mouth gaped open slightly.
