Giichi Uzumaki, The Heir to Orange
Giichi's smile had slowly closed as Yamato rebuffed the small bit of praise he had given Rei. The Prodigy's words seemed blunt, if not harsh. It made him turn to check on Rei's expression, he wondered if she would be hurt? Or if she had grown use too it. It wouldn't had bothered him personally, but females were often better at hiding such things. Things like pain or disappointment … regret even. “Yea, I guess,” he muttered with trepidation. His heart wasn't particularly in agreement but he didn't want to offend Yamato's viewpoints. He glanced around at the scenery. The sun was still high in the sky, shining through the leaves and making them vibrant. When he was brought back from his respite by Yamto, Giichi looked towards the girl on the cart. She was waving at them, possibly signaling for help. With a confirming nod, he grasped hold of the tanto and readied himself for Yamato's lead. “Gotcha!” he said, dashing towards the woman. He held the tanto close to himself as he did, just in case. When the woman had done nothing but scream and duck, Giichi stopped in front of her and with a nudge from his foot, sent her rocking onto her back. “Tsk, you're a kidnapper but you're not dangerous?” He tilted his head to the side in annoyance, his jaw tense. “Not that I was looking forwards to beating a woman or anything. Either way, I'm glad I didn't have to beat you to a pulp.” He nudged his head, telling her to stand up before tying her wrist behind her. “This is disappointing. I thought it'd be harder with Yamato attending.” Giichi stood beside the constricted woman as he stared at Yamato fight. In his head, some of the words that had been used for his own fighting style had appeared: Reckless, straight-forwards, brutish, and dangerous.

Daiki Naito
Daiki looked towards Aoi with annoyance for her decision. As leader, and mostly because he was a Naito, he obeyed her. But that by no means meant he liked it. In fact, her decision was probably as wrong as they came. Depending on how bad the situation got, he might just leave the Genin to their deaths. No. Aoi ordered me to follow them. I guess I could extend that to defending them too. Leaping down effortlessly, he lchased after Doto and Rin, passing the small girl and catching up to Doto with greater strides. With a powerful hand, he gripped the boy's collar and yanked him back. It wasn't a weak pull but it wasn't overwhelming either, more of a forceful touch to assert his dominance. “You're rushing into unknown territory. Try to be careful.” he muttered under rain. “That'll get you killed, Doto-kun.”
