Hmm wow....I thought we already agreed that his one was going to take place in modern new york....
I guess it's fine if we do return a few years back. The most I can go with is 90's since I actually did live in the 90's. And yeah America for sure. 
As for the territories though the clans do have their own territories, but it's open to the public and those who are unaware of the things. Just those who aren't part of the clan can't go in. As for the fighting areas I think we should go with just open spaces that the cans will temporary clear/use until the fighting is done. 

I like that they're going to make their own clan. I can agree with that. The motivation though I think shoudlbe different. For me it was less of a territorial thing and more of a "I want what you have kind of thing". The vampire clan being the one's whoa re purely immortal are often the target of the other clans since they want to know the method for immortality. And that's wh they've been fighting for years, because they all don't want to die, At the center of every clan is this old guy who just desperately doesn't want to die and can't accept death. While those on the vampire clan, the oldest one's can't die, but they want to, and the only reason they're fighting is because the only way they can die is all of the immortal clans are dead.
