Not quite. If you'll recall, outsiders came to be at the same time as humans. In fact, because they were closer to Escre, they lived first. The outsiders were never human. They're not superior or inferior, necessarily, just different...a lot like Escre. They have no violent urges again humans, only envy, and will live among them in secret. In fact, they might become more along the lines of humanity's silent protectors; after all, who is there to envy and aspire to if they are all killed? And Escre will not abandon them.
You know what, we all know that Outsiders are the exception. And as I read their profile I couldn't help but imagine them being extremely useful to humanity if they chose to allow humans to use them in some way (I mean, with their superior bodily traits, Outsiders can easily be trained up and sent into battle, and for each one that dies, three more can be created, it is in every way perfect) But not too sure how Escre would feel about that. Not too sure Outsiders would willingly make their abilities known to humans either. But it's something to explore as the game develops. And as you say, the destiny of these two species is intrinsically linked, the bond between them unbreakable.
