Mai has been raised quiet and shy around others. She always tries to put her fellow cursed children above herself and mostly tries to hide from humans. She has become rather violent against humans
But doesn't try to hurt them when they attack her in order to keep the damage to herself as least as possible. Mai is mostly scared of other and doesn't even try to get near humans. When Mai loosens up a little she will likely try to be a little more cheerfull and close to other people she likes.
[h2]Background[/h2] 
When she was born her father had already long past away by a gastrea attack. On top of that tragedy her mother had abandoned her in the outer district at a very young age because of her red eyes. Her mother might still be alive and well somewhere out there in tokyo however she did not care to go look for her mother anymore after what she had done to her. She continued living in the outer district around the old ruins of Tokyo together with the other cursed children that were left behind. It was difficult to survive in the outer district and many died of hunger when they were low on food. After a while Mai ended up all alone in the ruins without food or others to care for. She didn't want to live like that anymore and decided to head into the city and see if she could find a better life over there.

After she had traveled tl the city it was hard to survive. Mai already had a mutation when she was born and it was hard to live with it. The tail made it almost impossible to not be scolded or hurted at by humans. It didn't take long before a group of punks beated her up and left her in an alley barely alive full of bruises and blood from her poked out eyes. It was hard to fight back since other humans would probably join in the fight and kill her eventually. The dark alley was the place were she found some other cursed children that tried to help her. She got used to live with them after only a short while, although there lifes mostly consisted of begging for money, but not even a single soul would give something to them so it was basically pointless. The same thing happend over and over again. her friends would die of hunger or just being killed by the cruel humans but she would always run away and start over again with no futher in sight.

It was mostly thanks to her running speed that she was noticed by a small company with not that much people. They took good care of her when she started accepted the offer from them. She would need to run erands around the city for those people and they would give her shelter, food and maybe some stuff that she would like herself. Only a few cursed children were doing these small jobs only the ones with very high running or maneuvering speed. It stayed unclear to her why this had to be done fast and mostly through the night. But she didn't complain, it was something she didn't mind doing for these nice people. She felt somewhat happy for the first time in her life, most of the humans that worked at the company were nice to her and the other cursed children and they even bought toys for them from time to time, it wasn't as big or fancy like the normall kids would get, but it was something.

One night after running and erand she could hear multiple police cars riding through the city all towards the same spot, her so called home was surounded by all the police cars from entire Tokyo. She was able to see from a distance that all of the people that worked with her were taken inside the police cars. She soon found out after opening one of thr packages she was carying with her that they were all drugs dealers and just pretended to be nice to her so that she would do their dirty jobs.

Humans were nothing but liars, she couldn't think of anything else but those words as she ended up on the streets again all alone. She would sleep on dark cramped places and steal money and food from people as soon as she was awake again. They would trow bricks and cans at her whenever she was seen in public and was heavily scolded for just walking around others. The stealing helped her being faster and running away from the people that tried to hurt her and it made her able to survive longer.

She was about to give up as she wanted to kill herself by pouring molten varanium through her mouth. She wasn't able to think of another way to kill herself since her body would just regenerate before she could completely kill herself. It would need to be done by varanium or something way more painfull then that. After daring to pour it into her she was to scardy to do it and thought of othet ways. She tried to kill herself by jumping straight down from the tallest building in the city but it only broke most of the bones in the body. It didn't even take long to regenerate all of them. She only got noticed after this by the IISO. As they wanted her to be an initiator. She was assigned to a promoter but she would sometimes run away from him and try to escape. It took some time but she finally have some fun in her life with him, They even tried to get her into a school as a normal kid but when she entered they would notice her tail in 2 or 3 days and immediatly beat her up after school. She didn't change her mind over humans as the lived on and always hated them except for her partner who still tried to teach her to not hate them completly.

This life didn't last long as her partner got infected by the virus and turned into a gastrea. She couldn't kill him, not in a miljion years could she would be able to do such thing even if he wanted to eat her she still refrained. Her life was nothing anymore it all needed to be ended here, She kept talking to him while he tried to kill her she kept dodging all his attacks and just kept on talking to him the whole time even tough she knew it wouldn't help. She gave up and kneeled down in front of him ready to die. The gastrea launched multiple attacks on her but not somrthing that would make her die. She tried to help the gastrea by making his attacks go deeper and hit more organs but it still didn't work. Short after a single sniper shot was fired from another building killing the gastrea in only one shot as she was speechless and bursted out into tears. She ran off again while deeply crying.

Her boomerang is made of Varanium and contains 6 varanium knifes that she could use she can only pull out 3 of the knifes before the boomerang doesn't work as a boomerang anymore
When all the knifes are pulled out of the boomerang itself it will unlock a chain that drops out of it also made of varanium that she could use
However she would sometimes prefer to kill something on her own[/hider][/center]
