Look, in my mind, NCM's usefulness aren't graded by their armor and durability in a fight, not necessarily. NCM fights are less like head on tank-to-tank fights and like a battle in armored core. And, of course, many fighting techniques and styles exist, so who knows? Maybe AA&T hasn't won their war with the SAU yet because they're being too tanky when they should fight and operate more like an airforce.
