The entire point of my character is that he's a prodigy. He has an exceptionally powerful spirit that means he can use cores outside of the normal parameters. I'm willing to go with there being maybe a few more, but since he's a PC and they're NPCs, he should be the most powerful. I would suggest "Channeler" as a term. Because it's based around the strength of your spirit, it isn't something you can study, you have to be born with it, and it's exceptionally rare. I'd say there should be maybe one in every billion people born with it - there would be seven in our world. For point 2, I'm sticking with the description as it is. Sulaan has the ability to mingle her spirit with that of her host, reinforcing it, and that just happens to coincide with Thanar's powers, allowing him to draw on her help. Finally, for core burnout: as I've already stated, he can fuse cores. This can mean multiple things. It can literally fuse the two cores into one, it can meld them like with the Corestaff or it can burn one out and transfer its power to the other. The third way is how he keeps his cores charged.
Alright, so here's what I'm thinking. Channelers can be rare (diggin the term) but 7 total is a bit too much. I'd say we could have like 20 in the world, but more than half of them are old and withered monk-type men who have devoted their life to do what you can do. However they can't do it to the same scale as you, so that way your character is more of a prodigy. Would you mind making your character a bit older? The reason I ask if because if you're going to be a channeler, obviously there should be some degree of fame associated with him. And he seems like a wise guy who people would hold in high esteem, but 23 is a bit young to be expressing his almighty wisdom. It's fine if you want it that way, but that also means he can't exactly be a gandalf (although it would be boring if we were any older than, say, 35 at max). But yeah dude, I do still fear a bit OP'ness with this character, but I'm going to assume you know how to limit your actions and not just destroy the mess out of everything. Like me. My character has an amazing power too (mostly cuz I'm GM! HAHAHA!) but I know I can make it work by limiting it. So, I guess I'll accept you. OH AND NOTE TO EVERYONE: IF YOU READ THE OOC YOU'D KNOW THAT THE VOID GATE OPENS IN SOVEREIGN, SO IF YOUR CHARACTER WANTS TO GET A KAGE, HE OR SHE WOULD HAVE TO BE IN SOVEREIGN FOR SOME REASON DURING THE TIME. That's not even mentioning the whole quarantine that would occur. But yeah, consider that when making bio's! :)
