Getting to that, although we're looking at a Christian-based religion, where everyone worships the Creator, who is all seeing, all knowing and all loving etc.

There will also be a host of minor religions, that the players can contribute should they wish. I called it the Temple District for this reason, as it allows for a bit of diversity should we need some.

This is correct. Not all Guilds will simply be appeased by the death of the Prince... some might want to make good of the situation, and have a go at securing the city for themselves.
