It's never been a problem before, as my character's perspective can usually be pretty much whatever I want it to be. Or are things different here? Do we all have to write in the same style or something? In any case, if it's a problem, I'll crack out third person... but I suck with it. I always forget sensory details in third person for some reason, like I'm just narrating a bunch of facts and never really engage with the environment I'm trying to create.
