Why would we want to?

Alright, I joke.
But, ya, I agree with Frettzo that it's basic survival. Us Homo-Sapiens aren't well equiped to survive without something covering us. Other animals might be able to get away with it, but I don't think we would last long without clothes covering, at least, the bare basics.
