The fight on the ice moon took about a dozen posts spread over a couple days real time. That's plenty of time to type up a paragraph or two.

And it's not like you're the only one with work and school to keep track of.
If anything, it's rude for you to expect people to wait for you for days on end without so much as a heads up that you're going to be busy.
