The rain fell to the blood-soaked ground of the village. She couldn't help but think of how her clan's connection to the Blood Mist Village and her sudden change of heart to not kill that man after Daiki had spoke some very true words. She was ready to kill that man without even so much of a second thought. If this were the Blood Mist Village, she would have been ostracized for not killing the man with such a cold volition that it made her seem like a demon of some sort. Turning her head slightly at the sound of the door of the teahouse opening, Rin saw Aoi come out. The colorful-dressing chunin had simply told not only her but Doto and Haruka nearby to back away from the teahouse. It seemed that she had ended the man's life and Daiki was finishing up the process of cremation for the old man's body. Rin did as instructed and she saw the teahouse start to show signs and effects from the fire. The blaze stood out in the monotonous atmosphere like a sore thumb. It wasn't long after the house had been set ablaze that the trek back home would begin. Rin followed in silence. She didn't have any words to speak, but there was also the fact that Doto had been pretty shaken up about the whole ordeal. Rin knew that the one-year-older-than-her genin couldn't take the dark truths of the shinobi world. It's not like Rin has a lot of room to talk, but she at least understands what needs to be done. Granted, she couldn't go through with the killing, but she at least understands it. Doto, on the other hand, couldn't, or maybe it was that he wouldn't. He still had the idea set in his mind that everything should be all hunky-dory. She actually admired him for that. Even though he was annoying as all hell, she admired that innocent and positive outlook he had on life.
