So if Superman has been around for six years would it be safe to assume that Batman has as well? In which case would it be possible to play an established Nightwing without a Batman player?

I mean I'm interested in Batman as well but with him tied into the League and my limited time at the moment I am leaning more towards Nigthwing as a solo protector of Bludhaven. (That and I just plain like Nightwing more haha)

EDIT: I should note that I'm aware of the rule about legacy characters however if need be I can rework Nightwing to stand alone from the Bat-Family and probably still keep the Nightwing name if [@Vandy] is willing to allow me to work some Superman into my backstory if need be.
